Moonrace agents arrive in North Ameria, where Loran befriends the Heim family and reunites with his comrades.
Apr 9, 1999Loran Cehack, Keith Laije, and Fran Doll, agents of the Moonrace, travel to Earth aboard a FLAT mobile suit and land in North Ameria. While exploring alone, Loran nearly drowns in a river but is rescued by Kihel and Sochie Heim, daughters of a local mine owner. Two years later, Loran works as a driver for the Heim family and encounters politician Guin Sard Rhineford, who is strengthening local military forces. Loran is reunited with Keith and Fran, who are now working as a baker and a freelance reporter, respectively. Concerned that the FLAT might be discovered, Loran sneaks out at night to check on it, with Sochie following him.

Apr 16, 1999Sochie and Miashei Kune wish to join the Inglessa Militia, but Loran is reluctant. Kihel opts to work for Guin instead of attending college. Guin and militia leader Michael Gern plan to capture the Moonrace queen. The queen, Dianna Soriel, arrives aboard the ship Soleil, where she is revealed to be identical in appearance to Kihel.

Later, during a confrontation with Dianna Counter, Loran uncovers a secret weapons cache. Corin attacks the Militia's mobile suits in order to lure out the Turn A Gundam. Keith offers to sell the FLAT to the Militia to get funds to expand his bakery. Sochie pilots the Turn A Gundam, but faces big trouble against Corin. After she passes out Loran takes the Turn A Gundam and fights off Corin.

Upon arriving at the Heim residence, Dianna, who is posing as Kihel, has an emotional reaction while visiting her father's grave.
