Dianna Kihel invites Guin to the Moonrace's nation declaration in the Sunbelt Zone. The Militia recruits Moonrace technicians, while the Moonrace fear stormy weather. Loran and Gavane engage in combat, which Lily halts. Bruno and Jacop attempt to steal food but find spare mobile suit parts instead. Teteth meets them and persuades them to assassinate Dianna. Harry and Loran intervene to stop the assassination attempt, resolving the immediate threat against Dianna amidst the ongoing tensions and recruitment efforts.
