Jan 8, 2008While preparing to return to Italy, Jose and Hilshire visit an antique store in France to select gifts for their partners, Henrietta and Triela. During the train ride, Jose recalls being assigned to the Balkans and leaving his younger sister, Enrica, with his older brother, Jean. Upon arriving in Italy, the couples join forces to pursue bombers following an attack, successfully capturing the perpetrators with mutual aid. Later, Henrietta discovers a kaleidoscope in Jose’s room addressed to Louise Antoinette Rolle and suspects it indicates a romantic interest. Distressed, she discusses this with Triela and Claes, who reveal the name belongs to a nineteenth-century author’s mistress. Relieved, Henrietta joins Jose for stargazing while Claes notes the gift is likely a forgery.
2EP 2Pinocchio assists terrorists in bombing the Strait of Messina Bridge while managing personal relationships.
Jan 15, 2008A flashback reveals young Pinocchio committing his first murder under foster father Cristiano’s guidance. In the present, Pinocchio completes an assassination for the Padania Republic Faction. PRF leaders, including Cristiano, plan a bombing of the Strait of Messina Bridge and enlist terrorists Flanca and Franco, with Pinocchio assisting. Flanca notes Pinocchio’s social awkwardness, particularly his failure to identify her Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Pinocchio subsequently warns Aurora, a nearby girl, to stay away. At Section Two headquarters, Hilshire and Marco observe Angelica and Rico as Hilshire prepares to depart on a mission with Triela in Montalcino.
3EP 3Triela and Hilshire investigate a missing agent while tracking the Padanian assassin Pinocchio in Montalcino.
Jan 22, 2008Hilshire and Triela are ordered to relocate a missing Public Safety Division member searching for Padanian assassin Pinocchio. Investigating a Montalcino hotel, Triela finds a book titled "Pinocchio," discards it as poor reading, and later encounters Aurora, who knows Pinocchio. Triela secretly places a microphone in Aurora's lunch basket. Aurora enters Pinocchio's home and is captured by Pinocchio, Flanca, and Franco, who take her hostage. Triela and Hilshire breach the location, leading Triela to fight Pinocchio. She is outwitted and defeated by him. Hilshire rescues Aurora by freeing her from Flanca, but the terrorists escape. Triela suffers humiliation after her defeat.
4EP 4Angelica joins Marco, Rico, and Jean in Milan to investigate PRF activities alongside Olga and Priscilla.
Feb 5, 2008Angelica undertakes her first field mission since hospitalization, traveling to Milan with handler Marco, Rico, and Jean to gather intelligence on the PRF and Pinocchio. Olga and Priscilla arrive to check on Angelica, and Marco recruits them for assistance. Complications emerge when Angelica suffers withdrawal from conditioning pills, accidentally breaking Priscilla's arm. Priscilla persuades Marco to conceal this incident from Jean, allowing the mission to proceed. The team successfully ambushes and captures Bruno while killing Vincenzo, terrorists employed by the PRF. Although Angelica is initially disappointed she failed to kill the targets due to their bulletproof vehicle, Marco praises her correct execution of the mission. This approval leaves Angelica joyful as she discusses the outcome with Rico.
5EP 5Angelica's Return and Patricia's Hostage Crisis
Feb 5, 2008A month after Angelica returns, Marco worries about her changing personality while Triela remains depressed from her defeat by Pinocchio. Priscilla offers Angelica a Vespa ride, strengthening their bond despite Angelica's memory loss. Meanwhile, Marco's ex-girlfriend Patricia is approached by reporter Leonardo Conti, who claims to know secrets about the Social Welfare Agency. Driven by distrust for the Italian government, Patricia agrees to help him investigate. However, Leonardo reveals himself as a PRF undercover agent and takes Patricia hostage. Angelica kills Leonardo, prompting Patricia to question his motives. Marco explains that Leonardo did not choose this path willingly, suggesting his actions are still influenced by his love for Angelica.
6EP 6Section Two guards Chairwoman d'Angelo while Nino attempts retirement kidnapping
Feb 12, 2008Section Two is assigned to protect Chairwoman Isabella d'Angelo, whose agency oversees the Strait of Messina Bridge project. The PRF sends Nino, known as the "Tibetan Terrier," to abduct her. After Rico breaks Henrietta's kaleidoscope, Jose takes it to an antique shop where Nino works undercover. Jose and Henrietta are then tasked with guarding the Chairwoman, who discusses child soldier morality with Pieri Lorenzo. Jose identifies a PRF agent on the staff and sets a trap for Nino's team. Despite Nino's desire to retire and his warnings, PRF agents launch an assault. Henrietta and Rico successfully thwart the kidnapping, saving the Chairwoman. Nino departs the town, saying a warm goodbye to Flanca.
7EP 7Flashbacks reveal Flanca's past and the rescue of her from Section One agents
Feb 19, 2008Flashbacks show that Flanca, originally named Caterina, introduced Patricia to Marco at the University of Rome. Currently, Flanca, Franco, and Pinocchio are recovering at her Frascati farm after escaping Section Two. Additional memories detail how Flanca sought revenge on the national government against bomber Franco following her father's death in prison. While returning from a meeting with her uncle, Flanca stops to help stranded motorists who are revealed to be Section One agents. Franco and Pinocchio intervene, killing the agents and taking Flanca to a hotel. Section Two arrives and triggers an anti-personnel mine hidden under an agent's body, but Henrietta's swift actions prevent fatal injuries for the group.
8EP 8Claes experiences fragmented memories of Raballo while maintaining her daily routine and undergoing scientific examination.
Feb 26, 2008Claes struggles with distressing dreams about Raballo but cannot recall his identity, though she hides this turmoil. She continues her daily activities, including reading, gardening, and playing the piano, alongside examinations by Section Two's science team. Jean, worried about Claes's memory loss, shows her a nature video depicting fishing trips she took with her handler. Section Two investigates the traitor, leading to Jose’s acquaintance, who is killed in a raid by the fratelli, deeply upsetting Jose and Lieutenant Colonel Garnier. Henrietta struggles with feelings of selfishness regarding Jose’s depression. She and Rico assassinate Garnier and his second-in-command during a Tosca performance. Jose reaffirms his affection for Henrietta, gently pinching her cheek as he once did with his sister.

Mario Bossi provides testimony against the Mafia, prompting Hilshire and Triela to travel to Naples to protect his teenage daughter, Maria "Mimi" Machiavelli. While stationed there, Triela participates in close-quarters combat training at a Carabineri base. The narrative includes flashbacks detailing how Hilshire and Rachelle Belleut met at Europol. During an investigation into a snuff film, they rescued Triela, an operation that resulted in Rachelle’s death. The episode concludes with Triela waking up after having one of her legs replaced. Upon regaining consciousness, she mentions dreaming of a woman she suspects might be her mother.
11EP 11An assassin eliminates targets and reveals a hidden boy, while conspirators plan a bridge bombing.
Mar 18, 2008An assassin clears a house of all occupants and contacts Cristiano to confirm the job is done. Upon arrival, Cristiano discovers a concealed floor beneath the main level, where they uncover a young boy who will later be known as Pinocchio. Meanwhile, in Frascati, Flanca, Franco, and Pinocchio are resting. Flanca’s uncle contacts the group to warn that the police nearly arrested him and are preparing to arrest Cristiano. The group discusses their intention to bomb the Strait of Messina Bridge. However, Section Two anticipates this move, with multiple fratelli, the army, and the navy positioned to guard the structure and prevent the attack.
12EP 12The Fighting Puppet
Mar 25, 2008On the bridge, the fratelli search for Flanca, Franco, and Pinocchio. Henrietta finds three setting charges in the main support and opens fire, triggering a gunfight. The trio escapes by boat while Franco detonates the charges, but the bridge remains standing. They return to the farm in Frascati, and Triela goes back to her house in Naples, the site of her first fight with Pinocchio. Pinocchio arrives at Cristiano’s house in Milan just before Section Two begins their assault. The team destroys a gas station used as a guard house by Cristiano’s men and sets up a roadblock to trap them. Inside, Cristiano plans his escape, but Section Two attacks. Triela and Pinocchio confront each other for the second time.
13EP 13Pinocchio's humanity is realized as the conflict reaches its final resolution.
Apr 1, 2008Flanca and Franco join the fight to assist Cristiano and Pinocchio. Triela engages Pinocchio in a fierce gun and knife battle while Hilshire searches for Cristiano. Pinocchio shoots Triela with her own weapon, and Cristiano is shot and captured by Jean and Rico. Flanca and Franco arrive to rescue Cristiano, escaping by car until Angelica shoots Flanca at a roadblock. They crash into a river after failing to navigate a bend. Triela eventually defeats Pinocchio using her training. The car is dredged from the sea, but no bodies are found. Cyborgs are congratulated by handlers, and the girls return to their daily routine at the compound.
