Ep. 15: Mia Fey handles her first murder case with Diego Armando against prosecutor Edgeworth
Aired on February 2, 2019

One year before meeting Phoenix, Mia Fey defends Terry Fawles, a death row inmate accused of killing policewoman Valerie Hawthorne, with help from Diego Armando. Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth argues that Fawles escaped prison to meet Valerie, whose past testimony led to his sentence. Detective Gumshoe presents evidence of the stabbing in a stolen car trunk. Mia cross-examines photographer Melissa Foster, suspecting she killed Valerie and impersonated her to frame Fawles. Diego reveals that Foster is actually Dahlia Hawthorne, Valerie’s sister, who was the hostage thought to have died five years earlier.
