Armstrong takes the Elric brothers to Resembool for repairs, but Lust attacks Marcoh in his safe house, forcing him to reveal the philosopher's stone research location before killing him with Gluttony. On the train, Ed and Armstrong realize Al was left behind at the previous station. Armstrong urges patience, but Ed rages and leaves him. Ed is then attacked by a girl who steals his automail leg. Her grandfather returns it, explaining he keeps his Ishbal rebellion wound as a reminder. Meanwhile, Al is taken by a boy aiming to raid an enemy mansion. Al scares the boy by claiming to be haunted armor. The Elrics reunite as Armstrong grabs them and runs toward the departing train.
