Ep. 22: Hughes leads military rescue for Elrics while Envy pressures Ed to create a philosopher's stone

Hughes organizes a military expedition to rescue the Elrics from the fifth laboratory, with Bradley joining the mission. Envy, disguised as Grand, collects human ingredients and forces Ed to attempt transmuting a philosopher's stone. Kimblee triggers an explosion that drops prisoners into the lower room. Ed interrogates them, leading to a brief fight with Envy before Lust intervenes. Lust takes Al hostage, demanding Ed create the stone or break Al's blood seal. Ed fails the transmutation, but his body reacts violently after contact with the incomplete stone, destroying the area. The homunculi escape as the military invades, and Ross calms Ed down.
