Ep. 3: Edward and Alphonse confront Father Cornello in Liore after witnessing his deceptive miracles

Edward and Alphonse arrive in Liore and observe Father Cornello gaining the town's trust through apparent miracles involving a philosopher's stone. They meet Rosé and seek an audience with Cornello, who ambushes them with a chimera. During the fight, Edward's automail limbs expose his past attempt at human transmutation. After escaping with Rosé, Cornello reveals his plot, which the entire town hears. He attacks Edward using a stone ring, but Edward defeats him. The stone breaks, proving it is fake. Cornello flees but is killed by Lust and eaten by Gluttony. Rosé despairs over her misplaced faith, prompting Edward to encourage her to find inner strength and stand on her own two feet.
