Ep. 5: Scar attacks the Elric brothers in the rain while Lust and Gluttony stir unrest in Liore

Riza Hawkeye informs Edward and Alphonse that Tucker and the chimera are dead. In Liore, Lust and Gluttony incite rebellion, with Envy impersonating Cornello. Back in East City, Scar ambushes the brothers, injuring Alphonse’s body and destroying Edward’s right arm before state alchemists intervene. Hawkeye saves Mustang by noting his flame alchemy fails in the rain. Armstrong fights Scar, revealing his Ishvalan identity. Scar escapes into the sewers, and Mustang explains the Ishval civil war to the brothers. Consequently, Edward and Alphonse resolve to return to Resembool to repair their damaged forms.
