Hayashi confirms he rescued Mary from Cyrene Mine. Mary struggled with past trauma while with Team Orion. Haruhiro and Shihoru decide to befriend her, though Ranta doubts it is possible. During a rainstorm, Haruhiro and Yume fail to ambush a goblin. Haruhiro then tells Mary about Manato, the former healer and leader. He explains that his party of leftovers needs a Priest to survive. The group welcomes Mary as a friend. In Damuro, they kill goblins daily, and Mary begins interacting more. The team learns new skills against the monsters. Haruhiro dreams of Manato and feels proud of their progress. He stops counting days in Grimgar while watching a red full moon.
