Haruhiro explains that Manato’s burial cost one silver coin, split between cremation and grave fees. The group mourns deeply after the funeral. Haruhiro, Ranta, and Moguzo visit Shelly's Tavern, where Kikkawa warns that group Priests are high-value targets requiring protection. Acting as leader, Haruhiro recruits Mary into Team Haruhiro with Kikkawa’s assistance. Upon returning to Damuro to fight goblins, the members find Mary sullen and uncooperative. Back at the tavern, Volunteer Soldier Renji offers Haruhiro a gold coin worth 100 silver coins as compensation for Manato’s death, but Haruhiro refuses the gift. Later, Yume cries with Haruhiro outside the bathhouse, reminiscing about their time under Manato’s leadership. Haruhiro apologizes for excluding the girls from decisions, and the two cuddle while Shihoru observes them from a window with a different perspective.
