Ep. 15: Riku reveals the Black Pearl's origin and Sesshoumaru protects newborn Towa and Setsuna from Kirinmaru

Riku explains that Housenki the Second created a Black Pearl from Lady Izayoi's grief-infused rouge to reach Tōga's grave. Inuyasha stores the Pearl in his eye while pregnant Kagome gives birth to Towa and Setsuna. Riku warns of a dark comet fragment, prompting Sesshoumaru to flee with his daughters after defeating Joka and acquiring the Rainbow Pearls. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha destroy the comet, but Zero informs Kirinmaru of the twins' existence. Fearing a prophecy, Kirinmaru orders Sesshoumaru to kill Inuyasha's line. Inuyasha entrusts newborn Moroha to Koga and Ayame. Sesshoumaru traps Inuyasha and Kagome in the Black Pearl. Four years later, Zero orders Homura to burn the forest where Towa and Setsuna hide, leaving Sesshoumaru unable to help. Riku concludes his narration in the present.
