Ep. 12: New Moon Night and the Black-Haired Towa
Konton orders Nikosen to kill the Half-Demon Princesses for their Rainbow Pearls. Towa and Setsuna accept Kohaku’s bounty to slay him, while Moroha aids villagers. Nikosen attacks, demanding the pearls. Towa’s energy blade fails, and poison weakens her. Setsuna gives Towa a mask and fights alone. Moroha notices Towa’s changing hair on a bridge. Setsuna attacks an illusion of Nikosen with help from Hisui. In a cave, Myouga explains the new moon affects half-demons differently, unlike Naraku. Moroha uses sutras to protect Towa. Setsuna retains her powers because her memories were taken by the Dream Butterfly, allowing her to hold off Nikosen. Daybreak restores Towa’s abilities, and she defeats the demon. Konton watches, satisfied with their weakness.
