Ep. 11: The half-demon twins investigate a man-eating pond while comforting grieving siblings.

Moroha witnesses a bird swallowed by a murky pond, but her sisters initially dismiss her claims. After confirming the danger with Hisui and Kohaku, the twins investigate and encounter siblings Hikoumaru and Chiyo, who seek vengeance for their parents. Towa reprimands Hikoumaru for endangering his sister, emphasizing the value of holding hands. Meanwhile, Moroha cleans at the Corpse-Dealer's home, where Takechiyo reminds her of her debt to Jyuubei. At the siblings' home, their grandmother explains the pond has been murky since her childhood. The children identify the creature as a Venom Serpent and recall their father playing the Biwa nearby before his death. Setsuna plays the violin to comfort them, bringing tears. After staying the night, Towa reassures Setsuna about finding the Dream Butterfly. Setsuna reveals her lifelong insomnia is not a hardship and instructs Towa to rest before they slay the serpent.
