Ep. 21: Towa Chases a Dream Butterfly to the Sacred Tree of Ages

Two hundred years ago, Zero wished upon the Shikon Jewel to seal her emotions after Touga died, creating the seven Rainbow Pearls. In the present, the new moon weakens Towa, so Setsuna orders her to stay at Kaede's home. Kaede shares that she lived with Rin until her disappearance after birthing the twins. Towa follows a Dream Butterfly to the Sacred Tree of Ages and meets Riku, who plans to collect the pearls to restore Zero's emotions. Toutetsu attacks, and Riku defends Towa until Setsuna and Moroha arrive. Riku kills Toutetsu, and Towa gives him her silver Rainbow Pearl to aid his mission. However, she soon regrets this decision when Setsuna warns that Riku's master might use the pearls for evil purposes.
