On a hot day at the Sanzenin mansion, Hayate seeks an ultimate attack while Maria suggests checking the library. They locate a book detailing a secret technique used by Himegami. Nagi reads a lesson on romance but hides it from Hayate. After training, she discovers Hayate is practicing for Hinagiku and burns the book. Depressed, Nagi leaves at night and meets Ayumu, who challenges her to a one-on-one singing match in a karaoke box due to jealousy over Hayate becoming Nagi's butler. Nagi achieves a score of 100%, winning the duel. Ayumu states they will meet again in their next battle. Meanwhile, Hayate and Maria remain inside the karaoke box, where Maria continues singing her song.
