Ep. 22: Nagi and Hayate's Fishing Trip Ends in Chaos and Fireworks
As summer vacation concludes, Nagi feels sad about losing free time with Hayate and suggests a fishing trip. They travel to Sanzenin Lake, where Nagi attempts fly fishing despite Hayate's warnings about its difficulty. While they enjoy a romantic moment on a boat, the lake lord overturns their vessel. Later, both witness Maria successfully catching the creature. Back home, Hayate takes a bath but is joined by Tama, who breaks the water heater. Feeling depressed and believing he constantly causes trouble for Maria, Hayate tries to repair the damage, only for Tama to destroy it again. Maria reassures him that she appreciates his hard work, but Hayate accidentally falls on her. Seeing this, Nagi converts a firework into a bomb launcher, shooting Hayate into the sky where he explodes like a firework.
