Aired on July 15, 2007

Hayate prepares for combat, but challenger Koutarou Azumamiya summons his butler, Kaede Nonohara, to fight in his place. Kaede reprimands Koutarou for cowardice before Himuro explains the butler's duty to guide their master correctly. Hinagiku intervenes, allowing the duel to begin. Hayate is initially overpowered by Kaede due to his lack of a decisive finishing move. He ultimately secures victory by employing the "Art of Changing Bodies," using Koutarou as a shield. Kaede departs carrying the unconscious Koutarou, expressing a desire to battle Hayate again. Meanwhile, Nagi remains reluctant to return to kendo but acknowledges Hayate's success in the fight.
