Aired on July 4, 2009

Nagi dreams of ranking third in character polls while Hinagiku tops the list. Sakuya and Isumi fail to capture an evil eye yōkai. Maria sends Hayate to deliver a bag to a sick Isumi, where he meets her mother Hatsuho and grandmother. A giant yōkai attacks Isumi, but Hayate rescues her. Later, a masked attacker harms Maria and fights Hayate, only to reveal herself as Ginka Saginomiya, Isumi's great-grandmother. Isumi mediates the conflict. Ginka reverts to her elderly form and drains Hayate's blood to regain youth. Hayate returns to the mansion suffering from anemia.
