Ep. 10: Nagi confronts Hayate's changed behavior after the Black Camellia incident and his subsequent departure.
Nagi questions a woman regarding the Black Camellia, a magical sword granting eternity, after Hayate is stabbed by it and exhibits a personality shift. As the woman, Dolly, and a tree attempt to seize the sword during a fire at the thieves' hideout, Isumi releases Nagi. Dolly retreats with Shidou and Ruri, while Hayate abruptly quits his role as Nagi's butler. The following day, Nagi feigns composure until she meets Kyonosuke, who arrives in a new car Yukiji promised to repay. During a drive to Area 51, Ayumu reveals the Black Camellia she found, leading to a tire blowout and crash. Abandoned in the desert, Nagi realizes her dependence on Hayate and desperately calls for him. Meanwhile, Hayate interrogates a thief for Yukiji's stolen money, learning its location at the Starside Hotel.
