EP 1Nagi seeks adventure in Nevada but gets kidnapped while Hayate deals with a mysterious girl
Oct 4, 2012On September 18, Nagi ignores Hayate and Maria’s attempts to cheer her up, fixating instead on a TV program about Area 51 in Nevada. After receiving a call from the Las Vegas police department regarding her late father’s belongings from an accident 13 years ago, she attempts to leave the mansion despite Maria’s prohibition until Silver Week. Nagi flees but forgets her wallet and cellphone, becoming stranded after consuming a spicy drink. While Hayate is distracted by a small child, Nagi is kidnapped by bandits. Hayate pursues the captors on a bicycle and successfully rescues Nagi. Upon their return, the child reappears, introducing herself as Ruri Tsugumi and claiming to be Nagi’s little sister. The episode also features a live performance by idol Ruka Suirenji.

At the restaurant, Ruri and Sonia arrive, ordering food and inflating the bill. As the group argues over payment, a thief enters, claiming he needs money for his sister’s medical care. Yukiji confronts the thief with a gun, but Hinagiku intervenes, mistaking her sister for the criminal. After the thief surrenders and Hinagiku departs, Hayate is left alone to cover the costs, eventually chasing Sonia to settle the debt.

They encounter a demon woman in the desert who sends Ruri and Shidou to retrieve the stolen items while holding Nagi hostage. Hayate and Hinagiku rescue Izumi and Yukiji from the criminals. Ruri defeats the thieves and strikes the blond thief holding the clock, but the Black Camellia transforms into a sword. Hayate pushes Ruri aside to save her, resulting in him being stabbed.

Shin escorts Nagi to safety and approaches a helicopter with Hinagiku and Yukiji, who holds money. Dolly captures Nagi and summons a giant tree. Yukiji escapes with Hinagiku via parachute. As Dolly crushes Nagi, Shin arrives with the clock, stabs himself, and asks Nagi to retrieve his ring. Shin appears before Hayate, urging him to save his daughter. Hayate confronts Dolly, proving he is not her king, causing her to crumble. Chaos destroys the helicopter, raining money over three hotels. Hayate and Nagi descend on balloons, where she confesses her love. Ruri is hospitalized. Shin sings on "8" before reuniting with Yukariko in the afterlife. Nagi shares the King's final words as Dolly vanishes. The Black Camellia breaks, and they attend Ruka's concert.
