Hayate, Isumi, and Hinagiku use the "Shirosakura" sword to save Ruri from a bird-like man, though she departs without identifying him. The group receives a ransom note demanding Ruri's return to Las Vegas, recognizing the handwriting as hers despite its fraudulent nature. Motivated by this, Nagi decides to travel to Las Vegas to retrieve the Black Camellia. Meanwhile, Maria handles the misfortune clock, which causes an awkward incident involving the ventilation system, leading Hayate to take custody of it. In Las Vegas, Hayate loses his way and his phone dies. He encounters Ayumu, who claims their plane suffered mechanical issues due to the Black Camellia. Maria and Nagi spot Hayate and Ayumu, mistakenly believing they are kissing, and attack Hayate, only to discover he was removing fuzz from Ayumu's eye.
