Shin Hayek, Nagi's father, is revealed to have been a thief who became Yukariko's butler and fell in love with her. Nagi learns that the Black Camellia, a clock granting eternal miracles upon striking eight, is in Las Vegas with Shin's possessions. Nagi and Mikado clarify its dangerous nature. Desperate to obtain the clock, Ruri teams with Nagi for a quiz contest hosted by Fumi Hibino to win New York tickets for Las Vegas. Isumi detects an ominous aura from Ruri. Hinagiku and Ayumu win the tickets, intending to attend Ruka's concert in Las Vegas. Ruri flees after Nagi warns her against danger, showing concern for her safety. Hayate searches for Ruri in the woods, where he, Isumi, and Sakuya witness her abduction by a bird-like figure. Mid-episode, Ruka recounts a nymph granting her King eternal life.
