EP 1Hayate Asayaki deals with illness, exams, and Ruka's return from Las Vegas.
Apr 9, 2013Hayate shops in a poverty district before returning to Violet Mansion, where he and Hinagiku prepare early. Maria observes Hayate's popularity with the girls. Tenants Chiharu, Kayura, and Ayumu leave for school while Nagi struggles to wake up despite her efforts to improve. Athena Tennousu, appearing as Alice in child-form, remains barely awake. After school, Nagi plays video games instead of studying for final exams. Hayate works hard preparing for the next day, studies after midnight, and receives tutoring from Hinagiku. He sleeps only an hour before repeating the routine. Hayate discovers everyone is sick, though Ayumu fakes illness. He catches the cold but hides it to ease Nagi's worries. Ruka returns from Las Vegas and gives Hayate her album. At Hakuō Academy's final exam, Hayate arrives exhausted from errands. He finds everyone prepared dinner to thank him for his kindness.
EP 2Nagi Sanzenin's Morning Routine and Video Store Mishap
Apr 16, 2013Nagi Sanzenin is interrupted while gaming by Maria, who unplugs the television. She wakes up early at the Sanzenin Mansion, enjoying the quiet morning before finding Hayate cooking breakfast. To combat sleepiness, she attempts exercise, which proves difficult given her sedentary lifestyle. Later, at Wataru Tachibana's video store, Nagi intends to rent an R-18 naked porn DVD but accidentally selects an R-18 horror film instead. While watching the scary movie in her treehouse with Shiranui, she becomes terrified and screams for Hayate, begging him to stay with her until she falls asleep. Hayate whispers good dreams to suppress her fears. Maria also watches the film and experiences déjà vu. On a rainy day, Nagi stays home from school at the Violet Mansion. Hayate encourages her with advice, and Maria lends her money, explaining that each yen represents life and should not be wasted. Inspired, Nagi decides to attend school with Hayate, acknowledging that these morning days are interesting.
EP 3Athena and the Lost Money with Armageddon and Nikuman
Apr 23, 2013After sleeping late again Athena (Alice) takes in some sunlight for refreshments. Hayate gave her a ringlet-shaped chocolate coronet. Suddenly, a big dog approaches Athena then licks her. She demands that Hayate should find its owner. While they search for the dog’s owner on the streets, Athena disciplines the dog. Fumi appears declaring the dog, Armageddon, is hers. Armageddon quickly tackles Fumi, just as they leave Athena signs she likes Armageddon, and Fumi responds he likes her too because of her ringlet-shaped hair. The next day, Wataru struggles with the pile of money that Sakuya had delivered to him in order to keep his business funded. Hayate and Saki offer to help deposit the money into the bank account regardless of Wataru's denial. Walking on the streets, Armageddon and Yukiji suddenly appear then the dog snatches the briefcase full of money and runs off. He shows Fumi the briefcase, freaking out, Fumi plans to hand it over to the police, but her friend Sharna Alamgir warns her she would be considered a suspect. Meanwhile, Saki blames herself for losing the money. Hayate goes looking for the briefcase and finds out Armageddon brought it to Athena, but the briefcase is empty. Fumi and Sharna gather to help search for the money, then Hayate rushes for Tama to have him translate for Armageddon to know where the money is. Despite being insulted by the dog, Tama confirms the money been stolen by bandits. Tracking down their hideout, Yukiji beats up the bandits as Hayate and Wataru arrive to retrieve the money. With the money finally deposited Athena tells Wataru that he should comfort Saki, and so he does. Afterward, Nagi and Athena are left alone together for the day. They warm up some Nikuman to eat but overcook it. Thinking about what to do now, Linn the ghost priest mentions they should go find Hayate at Café Donguri to have him make dinner for them. Accepting the idea, they head out, but along the way Nagi and Athena get lost since neither are familiar with the direction. EP 4Isumi and Sakuya seek maids while Chiharu teaches Sakuya modesty
Apr 30, 2013Isumi and her mother reject Fumi as a maid candidate because she lacks smartphone proficiency, prompting Nagi to state Isumi does not need assistance. Meanwhile, Chiharu, disguised as Haru, instructs Sakuya on modesty at the Aizawa mansion. Flashbacks reveal Chiharu was hired after Sakuya played virtual games with her in an arcade and felt faith in her abilities. Makita and Kunieda also agreed Sakuya required a maid, selected via their café. Sakuya questions Nagi about hiring Hayate, who cites fate. In the present, Sakuya visits Nagi and finds Chiharu at the Violet Mansion. Chiharu begs Sakuya to keep her maid identity secret. The group searches for manga ideas, excluding Sakuya due to her reading difficulties. Isumi attempts to help Sakuya entertain herself, while Sakuya hopes Nagi continues to rely on her.
EP 5Hinagiku seeks a massage from Hayate while facing Gilbert's volleyball challenge at the resort.
May 7, 2013Depressed by her lack of fragility, Hinagiku desires a shoulder massage from Hayate but feels too shy to ask. After a failed attempt during evening study, Athena encourages her to try again. Hayate calls to meet at the Sanzenin Water Resort to handle the Hakuou Three Amiga. Their former enemy Gilbert appears and challenges Hayate to a 2v2 volleyball match. Gilbert selects Hinagiku as Hayate’s partner, assuming she is weak. Hinagiku initially pretends to be fragile, causing Hayate to apologize for his confidence in winning. When Gilbert mocks her flat chest and attacks fiercely, Hinagiku’s mood shifts. She wins the game, reveals her swimsuit, and identifies herself as the Hakuō Academy student council president, vowing not to lose. Later that night, Hayate offers her the requested shoulder massage, which she accepts with joy.
EP 6Izumi Segawa and the Other Two
May 14, 2013At Hakuou Academy, Risa and Hayate discuss the "idiot trio" nickname, prompting Izumi and Miki to challenge them by filming experiments to determine who is smartest. Hayate accidentally kills a plant, corrects Miki about unfertilized eggs, and watches Risa’s balloon contraption fail, concluding they are equally foolish. Later, the trio studies popularity while Hayate observes. Izumi, punished for losing paper from Yukiji, performs an embarrassing act with Miki’s camera until Shiranui scares her, causing her to forget to delete the footage. The next day, Miki asks about the camera, and Izumi is relieved to find the memory card missing. In the final scene, it is revealed that Hayate had taken the card.

After ruining Maria’s garden in the yard, practice moves to Hakuou Academy grounds at night. Hayate pushes Ruka down a steep hill to help her overcome fear, catching her before she falls. Later, Nagi requests similar training. Hayate, Hinagiku, and the Hakuou Three Amiga attend Ruka’s concert. Hayate receives an urgent call to serve as a backup dancer in a maid outfit to relieve Ruka’s stress. During the show, Gilbert appears and battles Hayate. Staff accidentally place Gilbert’s robot on stage, causing a rampage. Hayate kicks the robot off stage, dances with Ruka, and the concert succeeds.
EP 8Ayumu Nishizawa seeks health after realizing Hayate's cooking causes weight gain
Jun 4, 2013Shocked by her weight gain, Ayumu tries to stay healthy. At Café Donguri, Hayate offers Nikuman, leading Ayumu to realize his food causes her weight gain. She tries to refuse but cannot resist. A flashback shows friends planning a surprise birthday party for Ayumu. Hayate baked cookies, and while Maria questioned his memory of others' birthdays, he answered correctly. Nagi and Chiharu decided to host the party at Café Donguri. Ayumu arrived early, but they feigned ignorance until she left. After work, Nagi convinced a dismayed Ayumu to return. She was surprised by the party and jumped onto Nagi. Back in the present, Hayate walks Ayumu home for safety, confusing Hokuto. They visit Shiomi high school for a forgotten notebook. Hayate reflects that if his parents had not sold him to the yakuza, he might have accepted Ayumu's confession from Season 1 episode 12. After defeating a monstrous thief, Ayumu resolves to lose weight.

During the prep, she asks Hayate how he would react to a confession, prompting a serious response. Ruka arrives and queries Ayumu and Hayate about the same scenario, causing confusion as they realize Chiharu was merely curious, not confessing. The group enjoys the meal while Kayura Tsurugino makes odd comments. Flashbacks reveal Hayate and Nagi’s first meeting with Kayura, including a campus tour where Hayate accidentally exposed Hinagiku changing. Hayate intends to reject it, but Nagi sends a harsh reply, prompting the sender to respond with a terrifying message that frightens Hayate. Nagi orchestrates a fake date between Hayate and Maria to repel the sender, who is revealed to be Linn. Linn becomes enraged upon seeing them together. Hayate and Maria awkwardly try on various outfits while Ayumu and Hinagiku follow, believing the date is genuine. They visit an aquarium where Linn fails to interfere. When Ayumu and Hinagiku question the relationship, Hayate and Maria claim it is imaginary. As evening falls, Maria expresses hope of finding a boyfriend like Hayate.
