Rika attempts to defend herself by spraying Shion with pepper spray, but Shion retaliates by tasing Rika and injecting her with the syringe Rika had brought. Following this assault, Shion threatens to torture Rika further. In response, Rika commits suicide by repeatedly stabbing herself in the head. Afterward, Shion invites Satoko to her house.
