Shion suspects the Sonozaki family of abducting villagers, particularly Satoshi, and attacks Mion with a taser, imprisoning her in the dungeon. She accidentally kills her grandmother with the same device and discards the body in a disposal well while accusing Mion of Satoshi's murder. The next day, Shion impersonates Mion to confront Keiichi, who denies involvement. She then attends a village council meeting, lures the village head to the estate, and captures him. His confession reveals that Shion endured pain to protect Kasai, her uncle, and herself, confirming that Mion and her grandmother were responsible for Satoshi's death.
