Gon and Killua board a ship to reach Whale Island, the location of Gon’s childhood. Upon arrival, Killua expresses surprise at the lack of transportation and the small size of the house. Mito, Gon’s aunt, greets them and inquires about their exam progress. Later, while camping in the forest, they hear a gunshot and discover poachers attacking a fox-bear and its cub. They defeat the attackers and bring the injured cub home. Gon wishes to save the animal, but Killua initially suggests ending its suffering. Ultimately, they use their Nen abilities to heal the cub successfully.
