Ep. 8: Hisoka tests examinees with deadly cards, sparing Gon and Leorio

Hisoka identifies the true examiner, Satotz, by throwing lethal playing cards at the candidates, reasoning that only a genuine Hunter would survive the attack. He then assumes the role of an examiner and proceeds to kill numerous examinees. Although he successfully eliminates all his intended targets, he observes that Gon and Leorio possess unique qualities. Consequently, he decides to spare their lives, allowing them to continue despite his violent methods during the Hunter Exam arc.
