Soon shelters Shu and Lala-Ru in a cavern while Elamba reveals Lala-Ru's identity and punishes Sis. Lala-Ru drowns a faction member threatening them, allowing escape as Hamdo destroys Zari-Bars with Hellywood. Sis nears death under Sara's watch while Shu and Soon seek shelter with Nabuca and Boo. Nabuca advises Shu that killing is necessary for survival. Soon discovers Nabuca killed her father and attempts revenge. Boo intercepts the bullet, taking the hit. Nabuca retaliates by killing Soon in response to the attack.
