Hamdo forces Lala-Ru to refuel the battleship, but she refuses. Nabuca learns Hamdo betrayed him and is shot by Tabool, dying while entrusting his stick to Shu for escape. Sis tells Sara to accept her unborn child before passing. Shu frees the children and rescues Lala-Ru, who overflows the battleship core with water powers. Sara saves the children with the spy soldier's life. Hamdo drowns as Abelia ignores him. Lala-Ru vanishes in Shu's arms at sunset. Sara stays with the children, while Abelia sends Shu back to his world, where he sees a sunset behind smokestacks.
