Garamaru, the sibling of moth demon Gatenmaru, targets Inuyasha by trapping his companions in cocoons. This process aims to transform them into moth demons while forcing them to confront their worst fears. Inuyasha works to stop Garamaru from consuming the souls of his friends. He enters their dreams to encourage them to overcome their anxieties and resist the transformation.
