Inuyasha and his friends meet the elderly demon exorcist Haori, who asks for their assistance in eliminating an invisible demon responsible for local robberies. The group divides into two teams to protect two wealthy estates in the town. Sango and Shippo learn a technique from Haori to temporarily conceal themselves, yet they are spotted by Miroku and Inuyasha respectively. When the invisible demon attacks the estate, it is revealed that he can flatten himself to the thickness of paper. Ultimately, the demon is pardoned for his crimes after being instructed to never interfere with humans again.
