Hoshiyomi detains Kagome Higurashi to merge the Ken and Kon Blades, using a pentagram barrier to scatter Inuyasha’s group. Each member faces one of four ninja youkai, proving to be formidable adversaries. Hoshiyomi reveals his tragic romance with high-ranking priestess Tsukiyomi, justifying his plan to kill humans to save humankind through the blade union. Miroku employs his Wind Tunnel technique to suck the four ninja youkai into a vortex. Finally, Hoshiyomi summons the two blades together, creating the Naginata of Kenkon. This confrontation highlights the group's struggle against Hoshiyomi’s twisted logic and the powerful ninja opponents sent to stop them from interfering with his ritual at the shrine.
