Akane Sawai, a hikikomori suffering from depression, only communicates with an online textmate. Her teacher, Yoshiki Fukasawa, frequently visits her home to persuade her to return to school. Irritated by his persistence, Akane resolves to send Fukasawa to Hell. She later discovers that her textmate is actually Fukasawa himself. Both characters are exhausted by life and seek an end to their suffering. Fukasawa convinces Akane to proceed with sending him to Hell. Inside Hell, he learns that Akane will eventually follow him upon her death. Although he feels regret, Akane remains strangely at peace with her fate and instructs him to wait for her.
