The conflict between the two Yagyu Jubei II persists, leaving Freesia exhausted by Jubei's unchecked strength, prompting her withdrawal. Following her near defeat, Sai proposes the Mutodori technique, but Shiro and the Ruffians fail to calm her as she refuses assistance. Jiyu informs her that the eyepatch she crafted recognized her as the true Yagyu Jubei the second, leading Freesia to accept this truth and reconcile. However, the spirit of Kita Ressai possesses Furo, transforming him into a massive ice monster that challenges Jubei to a final confrontation.
