Ep. 17: Taiki faces ruler selection doubts while Keiki assists a kirin boy on Mount Hou

Taiki is informed that he must soon select the ruler of Tai, causing him to question his abilities after a kaikyaku girl pleads for his help in returning home. Meanwhile, Lady Gyokuyou invites Keiki to Mount Hou to assist a boy who struggles to transform into his kirin form. Their initial encounter is unsuccessful, but Keiki later makes amends by transforming to demonstrate the boy's true appearance. He then guides the boy in mastering the specific powers that a kirin possesses over youma.
