Ep. 28: Asano Stows Away on Suzu's Boat While Yoko Saves a Village from Youma

Asano retreats into a wagon after the travelers return, ignoring Suzu’s invitation to visit Queen Kei. Suzu boards a boat and rescues a boy from falling overboard, while Yoko’s absence from the palace raises concerns; Enki clarifies to Rakushun that she is learning about her people in En. Yoko arrives at a village just in time to defeat two youma. Meanwhile, Shoukei struggles at the Kyou palace, steals jewelry, and escapes with a youma. On the ship, Suzu discovers Asano has stowed away and, along with the boy she saved, assists him. The boy, Seishou, later demands payment for the pass given to Asano. Suzu remains skeptical of kaikyaku treatment, whereas Asano suspects Seishou is a spy aiming to destroy the world.
