Ep. 29: Wind's Distance and Dawn Sky Chapter Seven Narrative Summary

Enho, the village leader, recognizes Yoko and instructs her on the kingdom’s fundamentals while offering guidance. They encounter a former student of Enho who flees immediately. Suzu rescues Seishuu from falling off the ship again, explaining that he cannot comprehend the life of a kaikyaku. Seishuu shares that his parents died in youma attacks, leaving him homeless, before suffering a headache and resting. Meanwhile, Shoukei arrives in Ryuu but finds the inn full, forcing her to share a room with Rakushun. Officials identify Shoukei as the thief of Queen Kyou's jewels, leading to the arrest of both her and Rakushun after she accuses him. Asano attempts to kill Seishuu, believing him to be a spy, but stops when he realizes Seishuu is now blind. Yoko observes a mysterious figure entering Enho’s quarters and overhears a discussion regarding events within her kingdom.
