Ep. 15: The Science Ninja Team confronts a growing jellyfish lens in polluted Ghost City.
Ten years after Ghost City was ruined by pollution, the Science Ninja Team arrives in the God Phoenix to investigate lost communications. They encounter a Galactor base and coordinate with Nambu’s UN forces to attack it. However, a jellyfish lens created by Sosai X continues to grow in the polluted sea, using the water as amniotic fluid. This creature amplifies sunlight to destroy UN fighter planes and begins attacking Earth cities. The God Phoenix locates the base and the lens, destroying the former while the latter pursues them. With their protective membrane damaged, the team follows Red Impulse instructions to use high-pressure oxygen against the lens’s poisonous gas. Ken pilots the God Phoenix into the lens, causing the oxygen to ignite and burn the creature to ashes on the sea surface.
