ISO scientists are murdered, prompting Nambu to assign the Science Ninja Team as bodyguards. Ken encounters Galactor's Ninja Blackbirds near an amusement park, while Jun and Jinpei face a Neon Giant summoned by flute music. The team uses themselves as bait to help a scientist escape but falls. Jun notes the giant resembles a statue near the park where the Blackbirds disappeared. The team infiltrates the park at night. Ken follows a flutist to an underground base, discovering it is Katse in disguise. Katse reveals a plot to assassinate Nambu. Ken warns Joe and Ryu but is attacked by the Blackbirds. Katse controls the Neon Giant with the flute. Ken disarms the flute, and Jinpei plays a chaotic tune that causes the giant to overheat and explode, foiling the assassination attempt.
