A young boy named Bud offers to help, surprising Noa with his superior skills. Utsumi and Bud are actually Schaft employees preparing for their next move. They are leading the Griffin project, an experimental Labor with high battle capabilities designed to develop components for other units. Their plan begins by testing Division 2. Utsumi deploys a Saturn Labor to create chaos at a construction site, aiming to lure Division 2 into action. This sequence sets the stage for the upcoming conflict involving the advanced machinery and the division's response.
