SV2 members analyze the Labor's flight capabilities and confirm Asuma and Kumagami are recovering in the hospital. They prove the Economy Ingram is inadequate for police duties. Meanwhile, Schaft reveals they faked the Griffin's crash in the Chiba Mountains, hiding Bud and the machine safely. Kumagami provides Detective Matsui with a sketch of Richard Wong, whom Asuma identifies as Utsumi. Asuma connects Utsumi to Schaft and the Griffin. Matsui confronts Utsumi, prompting the Schaft manager to cancel the project and hire Three-S, a ruthless private army. As Three-S arrives in Japan, Kanuka returns to SV2 to investigate their presence. With Asuma incapacitated, Kanuka assumes the role of Noa's backup during this escalating conflict.
