Hajime and Miyuki join a treasure hunt on Kyushu's Hiho Island, organized by Daisuke Mimasaka. Participants include Asato Kakimoto, Ryuzo Yasojima, Kohei Himura, Hisayoshi Yaogi, Chris Einstein, former butler Eisaku Iwata, Kyoko Kaya, and Midori Mimasaka. Upon arrival, they find Mimasaka's decomposed body inside a grandfather clock. Clues involve a Yamawara statue, eight dolls, and an old song linked to Tottori folklore, where the Yamawara protects the treasure. The group continues the hunt, realizing an extra guest is the killer. The next morning, a doll is missing, and Asato Kakimoto is discovered dead in his lodge, covered in blood, despite everyone having an alibi.
