Ep. 10: Detective Kenmochi recruits Hajime to investigate the Kaitou Gentleman thief at Gamou Gouzou's mansion.

Detective Kenmochi enlists Hajime to track the Kaitou Gentleman, an art thief who leaves calling cards. Hajime and Miyuki visit the residence of master artist Gamou Gouzou, where Hajime reunites with former classmate Sakura Izumi. Sakura is named Gouzou's heir after a painting of his daughter, sent by the thief to a competition, is stolen. During the visit, a portrait is taken, and Sakura is assaulted with her hair cut. Hajime suspects one of the mansion's guests, including butler Komiyama, ghost painter Nobuhiko Izumi, journalist Daigi Maki, and friend Itsuki. Meanwhile, Gouzou's lover, Dr. Satomi Kaitsu, intends to poison Sakura but she is strangled instead, and her portrait is also stolen.
