Ep. 4: Investigation into the Lake Hiren Resort Murder and the Escaped Prisoner

Hajime and Miyuki visit Hiren Lake Resort on behalf of Shigeru Kikkawa to compete for a membership pass. A news broadcast reports that the axe murderer Jason has escaped from a nearby prison. The following morning, the group discovers a member dead from an axe attack, and the only bridge to the resort is destroyed. Company president Saburou Kayama attempts to flee with a suitcase of money but is also killed, and the money is returned. Later, Miyuki is injured by a booby trap in the woods. The case involves third-year student Eiji Touno, second-year student Sayuri Kawanishi, university student Souchi Kurata, painter Seiji Kobayashi, freelance writer Yousuke Itsuki, Saburou Kayama and his wife Seiko, doctor Seisaku Kouda, tour conductor Shyoutarou Kujyou, and Shigeru Kikkawa.
