Hajime and Miyuki attend a mystery night at an old castle featuring a wax museum, hosted by the mysterious Mr. Redrum. Ten individuals connected to criminal investigation are invited to compete for ownership of the estate. Upon arrival, the guests discover wax figures resembling themselves. That evening, Megumi Toma, president of the Toma Detective Agency, is found stabbed in the back alongside her own wax doll. The sole clue left at the scene consists of two cue balls held by the victim. The case involves key figures including crime psychologist Richard Anderson, mystery critic Kusaburo Bando, National Police Inspector Kengo Akechi, and mystery writer Kahoru Takigawa.
