Shouta tries to find a weakness in Lucoa to gain an advantage, but she reveals her true vulnerability is losing her home, admitting she stays with him because she likes him. Meanwhile, Takiya asks Fafnir to leave his apartment during a family visit, but Fafnir refuses. After consulting Shouta, Takiya uses a magic orb to force a contract, yet Fafnir rejects subduing his friend, leading them to resolve the issue through a game. Elsewhere, Riko and Kanna decide to walk the same long route a classmate once took. On their journey, they encounter Elma in dragon form, but Kanna convinces Riko that the sight was merely an illusion.
