Ep. 9: Elma's Union Efforts and Picnic Woes Reveal Her True Motives

Elma attempts to improve workplace conditions by repeatedly drafting proposals, eventually forming a labor union that is swiftly rejected by Shouta’s father, a boss aware of dragons. It is revealed her goal was merely to access the station’s limited sweets. Later, Kanna, Riko, and Shouta request Elma’s supervision for a picnic while Kobayashi and Tohru are occupied. When the children wander off, Elma panics about being deemed useless by Tohru and nearly exposes her dragon identity to Riko. Subsequently, Tohru and Elma engage in a training duel observed by Fafnir and Kobayashi. This confrontation allows Elma to express her longing for friendship, leading to their reconciliation and a return to their playful combat dynamic.
