Ep. 21: Robin rescues D'Eon from Orléans while Queen Marie returns Belle to Pompadour

Robin infiltrates the Orléans mansion to save D'Eon but retreats after Maximilien appears. Maximilien denies responsibility for Lia’s death and tries to persuade D'Eon to read the Royal Psalms. When this fails, he grants Lorenza greater control over the Royal Psalms, leading her to attack D'Eon’s body. Lia’s spirit intervenes and defeats Lorenza. Meanwhile, citizens march against Orléans, suspecting King Louis orchestrated the unrest. Queen Marie returns Belle, a talking skull, to Pompadour, who is revealed to be her mother. D'Eon escapes confinement and engages Teillagory in a duel that ends in a stalemate with D'Eon pinned to the wall. As Orléans prepares to execute D'Eon, Robin shoots him in retaliation. Teillagory shields Orléans from the bullet, leaving Robin shocked.
