Ep. 20: Shiroe secures Rundellhous as a Log Horizon member through a binding contract and revival theory.

Shiroe travels to Chuoshi, where Minori, Serara, and Isuzu utilize Regan's revival theories to sustain Rundellhous's health and magic. Shiroe arrives to temporarily revive him using an enchantment, then offers a contract for him to join Log Horizon. Rundellhous accepts the terms to help others and passes away as a Lander. Concurrently, Misa and Lenessia brief Krusty on the battle status as they prepare to intercept goblin forces in Zantleaf. Krusty's group defeats the goblin general, while Maryelle's team repels monsters in Choushi. Shiroe later explains his definition of an adventurer to Minori. Finally, Rundellhous awakens at the cathedral with his new adventurer status, receiving a harsh reprimand from Isuzu for his reckless behavior.
