Ritsuka, Yayoi, Yuiko, and their teacher attend a seaside fair, with Ritsuka explicitly forbidding Soubi from joining. Soubi and Kio secretly follow the group, leading Soubi to witness a scene that appears to be Ritsuka and Yuiko kissing, though it is actually nothing. Later, Kio speaks with Ritsuka, explaining that Soubi was always hurt by Seimei but found happiness and became a zombie after Seimei died. Kio expresses relief that Ritsuka is normal compared to Seimei and notes that Soubi has become human again after meeting Ritsuka.
